Triathlon Training

Sunday Bike Sessions are usually from Praze-an-Beeble village green, 9am start. We do expect you to be able to cycle at 10+mph for 40ish miles.  The routes usually include 'coffee and cake' stops ;-) so remember to bring some cash if you want to indulge.  Ride routes are published on this page if we have them enough in advance, otherwise they may be circulated by e-mail a day or two before the ride.

Off-season - From October 2011 we will be knocking back the mileage a bit on the Sunday rides, however we'll still be aiming for 30+ miles.

NB - from September 2011 we will be conducting the rides in a structured way where the whole group works together.  If 16 or more turn up then the group will be split according to ability. There are several benefits from this: 1) Safety - it much less dangerous for us and other road users to ride in this way 2) Slower riders won't get left behind 3) Faster speeds can be maintained 4) Less need for stopping.
